My father purchased this car in 1970 from its first owner. It is a B5 blue (inside and out) manual with a Hurst shifter. For most of my life it has had Cragar wheels. He removed the stripe from the rear end because he didn’t like the way it looked. Interesting tidbit: My dad used to drive back and forth from North Alabama to Chicago to buy oriental rugs to sell. He would remove the rear and passenger seats and load as many rugs as would fit into it. He kept meticulous gas and odometer records (he was a retired mechanical engineer) and swore that he got up to 22 mpg after switching from a dual four-barrel setup to a single four-barrel intake.
