DeSoto is bored .030 over, crank is ground .020, under polished journals and crank holes are tapped. Has 671 Weiand polished blower which is under-driven 25% and mounted to Rev Engineering adapter plate which mounts to a DeSoto Adventurer 2x4 stock manifold. Cam is NOS DeSoto which has performance regrind done by Chris Neilsen Cams. Heads have stainless valves, hardened seats, solid bronze guides, hard chromed rocker shafts, adjustable pushrods. ARP head studs, main studs, rod bolts. Milodon reworked deep sump stock oil pan. Twin Carter competition series 600 CFM carbs. Front timing cover is custom aluminum piece from Rev Engineering which mounts a polished aluminum small block Chevy water pump. 1/2" Gilmer drive belt/pulleys. Sanderson ceramic shorty headers. Will be mated to 727 Torqueflite. Chassis is custom 2x4 rails with coil overs, Ford 9" modular housing from Speedmaster, with Strange alum center case with Detroit Locker with 2.91 gears. Will see street use only. Truck was purchased back in 1973 and originally was a MN National Guard truck.
