| It started life as a Brilliant Black Dodge Challenger R/T. Purchased in Sept 2010 and sent off to Petty's Garage. It is now Richard Petty Signature Series Challenger #67 of 43. It is oddly numbered as it was the 13th one built. They skipped that number and badged it #67 in honor of Buddy Arrington (the gentleman I'm shaking hands with in the photo collage), legendary NASCAR driver and MOPAR fanatic! He drove the 67 car. His son Joey built out the engine in Martinsville, VA -- but it is STILL a 5.7 Hemi! It just puts out a "few" more ponies than your average 5.7L. |
