Matt just picked up this 1965 Plymouth A990 that had Larry Griffith's name imprinted on the block. The car underwent a rotisserie restoration about 7 to 8 years ago and has been under wraps, and rarely driven, since. The car is featured on pages 82-85 of "Hemi Muscle" by Robert Genat and pages 126-127 of "Hemi -- The Ultimate American V8" also by Robert Genat. Matt believes the engine was machined and prepared by Keith Black. It has KB 12.5 to 1 pistons and an Isky cam. The transmission is the original A727B Torqueflite and the rearend is currently a Dana 60 with 4.56 gears. Headers are by Mike Hamm of Huntington Beach, CA. Matt is actively hunting for the history of this particular vehicle. If you know anything about it, please drop him a line with the info. This is one awesome Hemi, that is for sure!
