Details about the upcoming Dodge Charger have been very limited.
An interesting bit of information has surfaced on
Moparts about a
possible Dodge Daytona model to be built on the new Charger design.

- Built off the Dodge Charger RT
- Estimated volume of 1000 to 5000 units
- Orders taken in Feb 2005 at Daytona 500
- Production launch on April 4, 2005
Available colors:
- Orange Blast
- Metallic Red
Exterior details:
- Spoiler and rear decklid
- Custom exhaust tips
- 5.7L Hemi decal on hood
- Hood louvers
- Unique grille/hood color (black)
- Painted brake calipers
- Blacked out rear facia
- Fascia/side sill ground effects
Interior details:
- Two-tone leather seats
- Body-color IP trim rings
- Body-color center stack bezel
- Racing style aluminum brake/gas pedals
- Model name/numbered plate - Petty sig
- Subwoofer
- Illuminated sill plate - Dodge Daytona
Functional details:
- 20" wheels and tires (Magnum)
- HID/projector headlamps
- Aggressive shift schedule
- Engine cover - Hemi orange

Until confirmed, this is all just speculation and/or rumors,
but it sounds pretty good. I will try to provide more details
as I am able to come up with them (the more reasonable ones).
