What does it take to make a Pro Stock Hemi? I asked the guys at Johnson & Johnson Racing to find out what they have under their hoods. Here is some of the details (more to come).
  • 499 ci Chrysler Hemi V8
  • ~15.5:1 Compression Ratio
  • (2) 1150 cfm Holley 4-bbl Carbs
  • 1275 hp (Redline is ~9700 rpm)
  • Single Plug Hemi Heads
  • 118 Octane Fuel
Special thanks to the guys at Johnson & Johnson Racing ( http://www.allenjohnson.com/) for sharing this info. Keep an eye out for them in the NHRA Pro Stock ranks and show them your support!
