Helping friends clean up their shop. They have an early hemi with the transmission. the casting number in the intake manifold is 1555473-1, it also has a date "2-1-55".
Not sure whats it worth. It does look complete. the value is unknown. I have more photos.

The '55 331 is probably around $1,500. Tranny is only of interest to restorers.

I wish I had a need for an early HEMI.

Is this motor and transmission still available?
Where city/state is it physically located?

I'm sure there plenty of candidates in Texas! Seen a '54 331 in one of the early Dakotas, looked like it belonged there!

20 or so years ago a guy had a Cunningham 4X1 twin log cast iron intake still on the original shipping board, but was wanting over $2,000 back then.
