Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson, along with Emmy Award-winning TV host and mikeroweWORKS Foundation founder Mike Rowe, unveiled an extraordinary custom 1962 Dodge Power Wagon during the SEMA Show. Dubbed “Project S.W.E.A.T.” (Skill and Work Ethic Aren’t Taboo), this one-of-a-kind truck will be auctioned for charity at the 2025 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, running from January 18-26 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. The proceeds will support Rowe’s foundation, which promotes skilled trades education across the United States.

Built by Ohio-based SugarCreek with input from TV personality and custom auto designer Colby Donaldson, Project S.W.E.A.T. packs a supercharged HEMI® V8 engine generating over 1,000 horsepower. The powerplant is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and sits on a late-model Ram four-wheel-drive (4×4) chassis. The Power Wagon blends retro design elements with modern muscle, incorporating body styling reminiscent of the Ram 1500 TRX and a crew cab configuration featuring suicide doors.

The utilitarian yet sophisticated flatbed is custom-built, while the interior boasts hand-crafted leather and Alcantara finishes. Custom engineering and innovative craftsmanship set this truck apart, representing over 9,000 hours of labor.

Craig Jackson praised the collaboration, emphasizing the significance of honoring American creativity and hard work. “It’s only fitting that Barrett-Jackson will auction this Power Wagon to benefit Mike’s foundation, which is dedicated to supporting the next generation of skilled trade workers across the country,” Jackson said.

Mike Rowe echoed the sentiment, stressing the importance of raising awareness for skilled trades. “Over 9,000 hours of heart, soul, and talent were poured into building this custom truck knowing it will benefit the next generation of workers,” Rowe said. His foundation, mikeroweWORKS, is committed to closing the skills gap by providing scholarships to those willing to learn a trade, making this project a perfect fit for his mission.

Colby Donaldson, known for his appearances on “Survivor” and his career as a TV host, contributed his automotive design expertise to the build. Backed by John Richardson, Chairman of the Board of SugarCreek, Donaldson and the team from Washington Court House, Ohio, transformed the Power Wagon into a symbol of American determination and craftsmanship.

Barrett-Jackson is now accepting consignments for the 2025 Scottsdale Auction. Prospective bidders can register and secure hospitality packages, while general admission tickets are available for purchase. With 100% of the hammer price from Project S.W.E.A.T. going to support the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, this auction promises to make a significant impact on the skilled trades community.

I don't know if Mike Rowe had any input on the truck, but it's certainly awesome!
