More Photos: http://www.thehemi.com/gallery3/index.p ... -D100-BodyThis custom Dodge pickup was built under previous ownership using the modified body from a D100 pickup along with the chassis and drivetrain sourced from a 2005 Ram SRT-10. Power is supplied by an 8.3-liter V10 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and the truck is finished in green over black upholstery. Equipment includes 22″ alloy wheels, a rear step bumper, air conditioning, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, and a stereo with a CD changer. Purchased out of North Dakota by the seller’s wife in 2019, the truck has since been relocated to Ohio. This custom-built Dodge pickup is now offered by the seller with a clean Ohio title in the owner’s name describing the truck as a 1964 Dodge D100.
The seller notes that the body was stretched 6″ and mounted over an SRT-10 pickup chassis before it was refinished in green under prior ownership. The inside of the Sweptline cargo bed is coated with bedliner material, and the bumpers have been painted to match the body. Further details include a chrome grille, quad headlamps, and tinted windows in addition to dual side-view mirrors, rear mud flaps, SRT-10 badges, and polished exhaust outlets. The tailgate is misaligned, a run in the paint is present under the rear window, and chips in the paint are visible on the rear bumper.
Twin-spoke 22″ alloy wheels are mounted with 305/40 Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The truck rides on an independent front suspension and rear leaf springs.
The bolstered seats are trimmed in dark gray leather with synthetic suede inserts and SRT-10 embroidery on the headrests. The door panels and headliner are accented by black cloth trim, and amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, air conditioning, cruise control, metal pedal covers, and a stereo with an integrated six-disc CD changer. The seller notes that the airbags have been disconnected and the fuse for the system has been removed. The airbag warning indicator is illuminated.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, an SRT-10–branded 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 500 of which were added during current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The 8.3-liter V10 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque and sends power to the rear wheels via a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission. The check engine symbol and “check gages” warning on the dash are illuminated.
The Carfax report for the vehicle from which the donor chassis was sourced notes that that vehicle was involved in a rollover accident in June 2006 resulting in disabling damage, and a salvage title was subsequently issued. Manufacturer safety recalls are also noted.
I really dig this RAM SRT-10 D100 project. It's a great combination, even the color!
