Pro Touring Find: The RideTech Equipped Blackened 1973 ‘Cuda Is Up For Sale – Evil Looks, Late Model Hemi Power, Tough Suspension

The old “Lord Vader, your car is ready” joke is totally beaten to death at this point but we couldn’t help but think that as we gazed upon the evil glory that is this car. Called “Blackened” for obvious reasons, the 1973 ‘Cuda uses a 6.1L hemi was was removed from a wrecked SRT8 vehicle of some sort before finding a home in this professionally built car. RideTech suspension components are found throughout the car and they contribute to the stance that looks all business in the photos below. The build of the car was followed on the Lateral-G website and you will see links to the build threads when you hit the eBay ad link below. This is one tough customer and the interior is no slouch either.

We dig the fact that the builder went right to the modern edge with the interior but not too far over the line. Sometimes we see cars like this and they look all gnarly on the outside and then the interior just doesn’t mesh with the overall program. Not here. The stock dash shape was retained and filled with digital gauges, stock style buckets were done in leather and the colors were matched nicely to the overall “blackened” theme. There’s some real tire under this car as well with 18×8 wheels up front and 19×10 rollers in the rear. All of that contact patch means that this ‘Cuda should be a real fun time on off ramps, through the cones, or just around town.

We’re just begging whoever buys it to drive it! The seller claims that he has driven it less than 150 miles since the build was completed. All that horsepower, all those great parts, all the time and money spent to construct it and the thing has lived the life of a paperweight. Save this ‘Cuda! Burn the tires off, scare old ladies, scare young ladies, scare yourself. Just please, please, please drive it!

This is an old article, so it's no longer for sale, but it's still a cool 'Cuda to share!
There's lots of photos around the internet of the build. I love a Pro Touring 'Cuda!
