A wild 1969 Dodge Charger, lovingly known as ‘Reverence’, is heading to auction next month and could sell for as much as $500,000.

This incredible car is the work of Cleveland Power and Performance and was first unveiled at SEMA in 2018. It was created by grafting the custom Charger body onto the platform of a modern-day 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, resulting in one fine restomod.

As standard, the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 of the Challenger SRT Hellcat is rated at 707 hp, but thanks to a host of modifications, including Kooks long-tube headers and a bespoke 3-inch exhaust system, it now produces 890 hp, even more than the Demon. Coupled to this remarkable powertrain is a ZF 8HP90 eight-speed automatic transmission with a 3.09 ratio differential, while the car is also riding on a fully independent rear suspension.

Extensive modifications have been made to the exterior, which features a custom hood with a large scoop, revised bumpers, large air vents on the doors, modern headlights, black chrome exterior trim, and a special paint dubbed ‘Strangler Green.’

As the car is based on a Hellcat, the interior features many of the same interior parts, such as the heated and cooled seats, navigation and dashboard. Other upgrades include KW Variant coilovers, a custom-built roll cage, and CW SP551 wheels.
