Want A New Dodge Charger That Looks Like It Came From A Junkyard? Check This ‘Zombie Apocalypse Edition’

Exterior colors can make or break a car and dealerships know it. That’s why the vehicles on display in their showrooms usually feature the most popular available paints.

Obviously, there are exceptions to that rule, as Spartanburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram based in, well, you guessed it, Spartanburg, South Carolina, proves with this peculiar 2019 Dodge Charger that’s scaring the hell out of its showroom visitors.

Since this is a brand new car, we imagine someone at the dealership got too carried away and decided a zombie-style custom wrap would help sell this Charger in no time. It’s either that or zombie-themed wraps are a thing in greater Spartanburg.

Anyway, in the short description the seller says this 2019 Charger is a special limited edition that “looks like it came straight out of a zombie apocalypse with all the power of a Scat Pack.” We can’t argue with that, but if this is indeed a “special limited edition,” it’s the first time we hear about it.

The great thing about custom wraps is you can always peel them away so don’t be put off by the “dried blood look” if you’re in the market for a 2019 Charger R/T Scat Pack. Underneath the sinister wrap lurks the next best thing to a Charger SRT Hellcat: a RWD sedan powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine.

The naturally aspirated power plant unleashes 485 HP and 475 lb-ft (644 Nm) of torque to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission with a limited slip differential. This enables the big sedan to accelerate from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.3 seconds and run the quarter-mile in 12.4 seconds.

If you don’t mind the zombie wrap, the $37,999 asking price is a pretty good deal since on Dodge’s website the 2019 Charger R/T Scat Pack’s starting MSRP is listed at $41,740 (including $1,495 destination). Don’t forget, a wrap like that might have even cost a couple grand. Depending on your bargaining skills, we reckon you can lower the price of the ‘Zombie Apocalypse Edition’ Charger R/T Scat Pack even further.
I think the only thing missing from this is the voucher for the free AR-15. 8)
