India's Environment Minister Rebuffs Clinton's Climate Change Proposals
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/07 ... americans/
India's environment minister bluntly rebuffed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Sunday, telling her his developing nation won't bow to climate change rules imposed by a country that spent the last 200 years ignoring the environment while it built up its own economy.
I'm with India on this one. "Climate change" legislation is an economy killer.

I have heard how "climate change" is designed to make sure the well being of
the planet is maintained. I have heard it's a "national security" issue, too. So
I can only assume that, with such a pressing issue of global magnitude, we're
going to stop (or heavily tax) trade relations with India, China and anyone else
whom does not share our goal of "saving the Earth", right?

We're going to see how firmly our Congress believes in "climate change" by
how they react to the nations that do not cooperate. If, indeed, the world will
come to a halt w/o climate change legislation, we will not want to be providing
economic stimulus to countries that ignore the problem. However, I'm willing
to bet that our reps in Congress don't think so highly of this "global problem"...
