EPA Proposes Regulating Greenhouse Gas Emissions

EPA Proposes Regulating Greenhouse Gas Emissions
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 01453.html
The Environmental Protection Agency today proposed regulating greenhouse gas emissions on the grounds that these pollutants pose a danger to the public's health and welfare.

In a statement issued at noon, EPA administrator Lisa P. Jackson said, "This finding confirms that greenhouse gas pollution is a serious problem now and for future generations."
Carbon dioxide is a pollutant that is a public health danger? What?
We exhale it during respiration. Will we cap and trade breathing?
My trees, plants and grass inhale it. Will we cap and trade flora?

The entire "regulating greenhouse gas emissions" theory is a joke.
There may have been a glimmer of positive hope from their goals,
but it was quickly extinguished when they decided to create a cap
and trade system making "carbon dioxide" a commodity. Just one
more way we will get taxed -- taxed, literally, on the air we breathe.

[Lisa P. Jackson] took into account "the disproportionate impact climate change has on the health of certain segments of the population, such as the poor, the very young, the elderly, those already in poor health, the disabled, those living alone and/or indigenous populations dependent on one or a few resources."
The climate changes differently for the young, poor and elderly?
Or is this some way of appealing to those who most benefit from
from supporting a Democrat agenda? Gotta love propaganda.
