Where have you that have raced your Hemi's found the timing to be set at to achieve the best et's in your combinations?

60's SS Specs

Back when Dick Landy and all those guys were ruling
both the auto and 4 speed SS ranks with their hemi
cars, conventional wisdom was 36 degrees. Period.

That was even the factory recommendation for racing.
Past owner of 66 426 hemi 4 speed, 70 Challenger RT/SE 440 6 pack 4 speed, 70 3/4 ton 4x4 w/425hp 440 (warmed up 6 pack), 75 440 Ramcharger, & 36 Chev coupe with 341 295hp DeSoto.

I hate to split hairs, dude, but they were run between 32 to 35 degrees total advance--and no more. At least by those who knew what they were doing.
