It’s hard to talk about the Viper without uttering the word Dodge, but you’ll have to get used to it. Chrysler revealed today the next-gen 2013 Viper will be badged and sold as an SRT model, and not as a Dodge.
I guess I need to get a new domain name!

Most companies will change the name of a product, or its origin when they are getting ready to dump it. It's possible they are getting ready to spin-off the division.

SRT spun off from a performance dept of Dodge to its own brand.
As their halo vehicle, and w/o plain jane Dodge version, there's no
real reason it should carry the Dodge nameplate. I don't mind. :D
