Italian newspaper La Repubblica is reporting that, instead of Turin or Detroit, the new headquarters for Fiat/Chrysler might be in Holland. Though it doesn’t name any sources for the story, the paper says that Holland would be a useful compromise and offers tax advantages.
Holland is not the same as The Netherlands; Holland is a political subdivision of the Netherlands, located in the western part of the country. Holland is also where the Netherlands’ three largest cities, Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam, are located.
