392 Hemi w/354 heads - realistic HP question

Hey all,

I have the 354 heads and am currently putting out feelers for the 392 block.

My question is: Using the 354 heads and a 392 block bored .60 over, a 392 crankshaft, and an aftermarket intake for a 4bbl. What is a realistic HP expectation?

I'm just curious how well my 69 Bee will move after all this work. I'm dead set on having the old school hemi in the bee.

Thanks!

Sorry I'm a novice Hemi hp guesser but I just thought I would say hey since I'm here in Arkansas also, way down south in ElDorado.I guess you make a few trips to Centerville every now and then.I've been there once for the street shootout.Good luck ,Later-Mike

Vagabond:
Any early hemi with 10 to 1 comp, HP cam, electronic ignition, late model intake system and headers will make in excess if 1 HP/CI. 375 HP w/ comperable torque should not be difficult to make or difficult to drive in traffic.
Have fun with it,

Obviously, the figures listed above were for the 354. For the 392. add 25 to 50 HP. The 392 in my boat makes a strong 500 HP and still idles well.
Have fun,
