alcoa head? 1964 block

Hey guys I am doing some research on some of my Dad`s engine parts. I am having a very hard time fingind information about his specific parts. And I narrowed it down to that he had a RACE 1964 block and a pair of 1965 aluminum alcoa heads. But I am have a very hard time positivly I.D. the head the serial says that it is 1965 and it aluminum and has alcoa on it. But the valves are huge. If anyone could give me some more information or some good links that would be very appreciated.
