5.7 won't fire the injectors while cranking?

I put a 5.7 hemi in my 68 dart and im having a problem. It will not fire the injectors while it cranks. If i give it a shot of ether it will pop right off and fire the injectors. THe injectors have power going to them, the computer just isnt grounding them out when they are suppose to fire. Is anyone familar with this problem or would have any clue on what would cause this? I thought it was in the ignition switch, not getting power to the computer but that is not the case. please help! thanks
