Ignition curve for 5.7 Hemi

Post by 392heminut »

I've acquired one of MSD's Hemi-6 controllers and will be putting the 5.7 in my Cuda later this summer. I have no idea what kind of ignition curve these engines like. I'll be running an XV Motorsports intake with a Holley 3310, TTI headers, TF 727 transmission with a 3000 stall converter (possibly going to a tighter converter later after seeing how this one works) and the engine has a 6.1 Hemi SRT cam in it (540/528 lift & 234/238 deg. duration). If any of you guys who have been playing with these engines on the dynos could give me some feedback on a good starting point for the timing curve I would really appreciate it. I don't have access to a dyno where I'm at, and it would probably be a while before I could get any kind of a dyno tune. Thanks for any help!
