Hi everyone,
I am new to the list and have a 5.7L RT AWD Magnum. My problem is that at 36,400 miles the gas guage stopped working (except for a buzzing sound when the door is opened) and the dealer, of course, will not service it under warranty. Fortunately, I have the "convenience center" and can tell how many miles I have left until the tank is empty. So I am assuming the in-tank sensor/sender is working fine.
As many of you know, the gas guage is part of the larger guage cluster and costs $799 dollars from the dealer. So I am trying to find a replacement.
The question - Does anyone know if a guage pod out of a Chrysler 300 or a Charger will work in the Magnum?
Or does anyone know if my gas guage can be repaired?
Thanks for the help,
Jeanne

You might check with one of the places that restores and repaires gauges. One that advertises in Mopar Muscle Magazines is at www.autoinstruments.com . I'm sure there are others, do an online search or look through a Hemmings Motor News.
