New age muscle .....

Post by speedicusmaximus »

Hi,
In the July '06 edition of Hot Rod magazine, there's an editorial by David Freiburger calling for the "Big Three" to build the muscle cars of today with less of the (electronic) gizmo's and geegaw's that are becoming all too common. A la the Plymouth Road Runner of old ! Forget the DVD player and traction control - Give us performance !
Good call !

Beyond that, buried in the build-up and publicity on the coming fall's Shelby Mustang GT500, is mention of a suggested 'Cuda based around the proposed '08 Dodge Challenger platform. Sure, Plymouth's long gone. But what about a Chrysler 'Cuda ? There's renditions supplied too to fuel the imagination. Read the feature and think about it.
So what if ? We need to pressure DC on this one. But how ?
Does anyone have an appropriate contact point ? We also need to spread the word through the other websites. Can anyone help on this ?
The feature mentions alternates on the coming Camaro, a Firebird and Trans Am, and a Mercury Cougar based on the current Mustang. Renditions supplied.
Anyone out-there interested ?
Mike :-?
Beep ! Beep !
