After market air intake, do they work as promised?

Hello!

Does these aftermarket air intakes (like the DUB one) work as promised? I remember reading in some forum that the only profit is the sound, almost no gain in HP. What's your opinion to this?
DUB for instance states +12 HP for the 5.7 on their web-site.

I mean by only changing the air intake, no porting, no chip, no anything except the air intake.

I've seen dyno gains from 7 to 12hp. I wouldn't say it's a 0hp mod but don't get it expecting great things. The sound is nice, the look is good, and the little bit of power increase only helps in the grand scheme of things.
