my best highway was almost 20 mpg, but I was doing 60 for quite a long strecth with a light foot. best city was 15 with a light foot. usually mine is more like 12city-15hwy cause of my heavy foot

well I am new to the crew 05 reg cab hemi with 12k.. have had the truck for about a month now! I drive a mile to and from work... that kills my gas... just crankin the thing up drops it a couple points! sittin at the lights kills it.. bla bla.. get goin on the highway or interstate and it seems to do real good!

So far the worst has been 10 something? heavy foot! 14.7 was the the average of the first tank with a light foot! interstate I have seen high 18's close to 19.. but that was limited drivin... maybe 20miles? have yet to take it on a long trip.. but I normally run around 60-75 dependin on where I am and what I am doin!

You guys want to see gas drop quick.. try my neon... 577cc injectors.. sprayin 80psi for fpr.. when boost kicks in.. gas drops worse than the hemi!!!! Especially with the tune bein off and it runnin rich... So I dont complain!

I have a 2005 Ram QC Daytona (8k mi and counting) which came with the Borla exhaust. I put on a dual cone airfilter, stage II jet chip and got my AVG hwy mileage to 18. I usually hit 20-22 mpg hwy while holding speeds of 68-70 but it has to be flatlands. My city mpg is 16 avg.
The biggest KILLER on mpg seems to be the cruise control. While on cc, I'm lucky to keep 16 hwy. Also, I pick up 1 mpg when I take the spoiler OFF the back end. Not sure why since I do have a tonneau cover on the bed. Guess that's one for Myth Busters!
Towing 1700 lbs of jetskis it drops to 16 mpg hwy avg.
BTW, I did NOT replace the scoop insert with an open one. I really didn't want rain feeding directly into my intake nor did I want the noise usually associated with open scoops.
