I'm wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar to what I am or if anyone knows a fix to my problem.
The situation: I'm running the truck near redline in 2nd gear (60+ mph) in a turn, the truck grabs the upshift, and as soon as it shifts, it seems like I lose power steering for just a moment.
I first noticed this a few months ago, and I thought is was something in the road, but just the other day, it happened and it caused me to cross from the passing lane through the slow lane to the shoulder on the outside of the turn.
I haven't spoken to a dealer rep, yet, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.
Steering Loss

maybe your belt is slipping, bad power steering pump, it's also recommended you get your power steering flushed every 30,000 miles, it's hard to say.
