354

Post by badcat69 »

I am trying to find out what and value of a Hemi engine I have.
It is a354 as far as I know. It has a VT575 on the left front of the engine block. I believe it is a truck block and it has a dual two(or single) carb intake.
The head code is 1733463 which does show a 354. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Not in the list of codes in Leo's book. There is a casting # between the head & valley cover, driver's side rear. Hard to see with intake on. There have been reports of a few with 354 casting numbers, bot bored to 331, guess you'll have to measure stroke & bore to be sure.

Can you tell me if those heads have water outlets on the ends or in the center of the intake mount? I have heard of truck motors with dry intakes and am trying to figure out which ones (if any) they are. Thanks.
