The D44 tells you that he has this Hemi:

1953 Dodge Red Ram 241
http://www.thehemi.com/engines.php?id=53RR241

I do not have that casting number on file, but if
you mean 1409375 (appending a 1 on the front)
it would be around the 1953 era.

Couple Boat Hemis

Okay, here is the latest request for a Hemi ID.
I have two Hemis in a boat and can't identify.
Casting near flywheel is E-2374-M-1.
Does anyone have any info? Or what to ask?

Thanks!

Someone's been told the Superchips programmer should
add 21-hp and 34-ft/lbs and it is going to cost about $465.
Availability was stated as early July.

We shall find out for sure pretty soon!

Hemi Registry - Are you listed?

Hemi Engine Registry http://www.thehemi.com/registry.php I would think I should have more entries. :) If I can get enough entries going, I will add some search functionality and whatever else would be a cool addition to that section. Eventually a way for people to add/remove their own images or deta...

I was informed by DCX that the Power Wagon is going
to be an available package on the 2500 trucks, like the
SRT-10 package is for the 1500 trucks. Not standalone.

If you check the news article again, I linked to the large
versions of the images. In case you want a bigger look.

S&P says they are using the Magna Charger that they have
used on the LS1 and LS6. They claim that they will not have
any problems with the PCM. I hope it's as easy as they think!
Otherwise we may not see their blower kit released for awhile.

I spoke too soon. I just read that they are having a delay.
Currently word is now August for the 2003 with the 2004 to
follow a couple months afterward. This chip better be good!

Appears that some guys are testing the Superchips PCM.
So far, the speed limiter moved higher (or removed) and
they are revving beyond 6000 rpm. Laying rubber in 2nd.

Maybe the Superchips PCM is coming soon... ?! :D

Paxton tells me they are 1-2 months out still (of course). So the website selling them must be collecting pre-orders or just trying to get some free website traffic. If the "upto 45% increase" claim ends up being the truth, that means the 5.7 HEMI would get bumped upto 500-hp! (That is cra...
