Re: Illegal immigrant who killed nun released by feds

If the feds don't get off their asses and secure the border and deal with this illegal immigrant thing or let the states do what needs to be done we are goin...

This is the first I've heard of the Engine Swap Drags. If I had known about it I probably would have taken my Cuda. Firebird is only about 5 hours from me, and my daughter lives about 45 minutes from there! It was definitely not well publicized! -------------------------- You should probably contac...

The owner talks about driving it to the track, hammering on it, then driving it back home. My question is where does the license plate go? :o

Probably the only way to know for sure is to do a mockup assembly and check them.

Re: Pushrod checking

I ordered up a set of pushrod length checkers. (I swear, there's not a part in this basket case that is useable as is...argh). The installed big valves are ofcourse longer so my adjustable pushrods are too long (Duhhh, Neil), even fully closed, add in decking/milling and there you go. Neil Anytime ...

I'm with DblAdigger, just run an electronic Mopar smallblock distributor. It takes up the least amount of room and works great. I never had a problem with mine.

Mart, I haven't had much luck in getting any response to tech questions on the Gen. III Hemis here. There doesn't seem to be much activity by people who are working with them here.

If those @$$holes in Washington implemented a VAT they would just find more ways of spending the the extra money and we would be paying more out of our pockets with no reduction of the national debt. :x

Junior Thompson is one of the best, if you can afford him!

You might also check with Bob Walker @ Hot Heads Research, I don't know if he still does complete engines, but if he doesn't he would know who to go to.

Re: Priming a 6.1 hemi

If you're talking about priming the oiling system then pull the spark plugs and crank it over with no compression. That's the only way to do it since the oil pump is driven by the crank snout.

Not sure if it's the same length, but the PAW tube looks like the 426 hemi tubes.

BIG difference in height! Do the PAW covers use stock spark plug tubes or 426 tubes?
