IMO, that girdle is absolutely worthless. Thats why they dont make them.

Pete's intake on the other hand is a very nice piece. I cant wait to get my hands on one.

The Pontiac rods can be used in 331 and 354 Chrysler.
The Pontiac rods are approximately .996 wide. The Desoto uses .938 wide rods. The Pontiac rods use a .980 pin. The Desoto uses .921 (or if using Ross pistons most likely a .927 pin)

If I were doing it (and this is just me), I would think about making the flange with enough material so that it could be machined and drilled for either the Desoto pattern or Dodge pattern. Even with the difference in bore spacing, with thick enough runners, it could be ported to match whatever appl...

Jesel has some in the works.... estimate in the $3500.00 range. The main problem is room inside the head for a larger rocker, especially the way the spark plug tubes are cast. I currently have kits for rocker shaft collars, which eliminate the stock spacer sleeves, as well as billet shaft hold down ...

After 13 competitors, the hemi is 2nd. Hopefully they can hang on to get into the finals on Friday.

If he needs that kind of height, he might be better off to section his covers. Also have to do the same with the spark plug tubes.

With that late of a date code, it may be for a 318 wide block. If so, it would have a 2 series casting number.

I have a couple of the Edelbrock unmachined SB2 intakes, as well as Mopar P7. Another that might be considered is the new Edelbrock Victor Jr. for the LS1. I have aluminum flanges in both 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch for the Dodge. All the above intakes would be an easier fit to the low deck Dodge or Desot...

The factory Dodge adjustables use the same spark plug tubes. The adjustment part of the rocker arms are forged at a different angle than the non adjustables. The adjustment screws are also at an angle so that they have the clearance for the tubes, but maintain the same effective ratio. Tube clearanc...

As the 392 was never used in a truck application, we would need the engine numbers located in front of the center valley cover to properly identify your engine.
