Any clue if those early Dodge Hemis would fit in a Jeep?
The wife thinks it would be cool to create a "Hemi Jeep".
And by saying Jeep, I am talking about CJ5s and CJ7s.

1968 Superstock Rumors
Originally I was under the assumption that the 1968
Superstock Dart and Barracuda came with the Race
426 Hemi. But I am now hearing that they were just
Street 426 Hemi motors with cross-ram intakes.
Meaning, 10.25:1 compression and Street 426 cam.
Does anyone have any solid information either way?

392 Pistons into a 354 Industrial
I have someone asking me if a set of 10:1 392 Hemi pistons can be installed into his 354 Industrial Hemi with the right overbore? Can it keep the 354 rods? Does a 354 Industrial Hemi have the same bore and stroke as a passenger 354 Hemi? I do not have the Industrial data, but I can imagine they are ...

How about a Super Giant Hemi?
How about a truck Hemi with "Super Giant 315"
written on the valve covers? I am trying to get
the serial number info off the block next. I think
the engine came from a D-500 truck.

Help ID this (maybe) Industrial

I received this photo and this ID: NE552283
That ID means 1955 Chrysler FirePower 331.
Why might it have the Industrial valve covers?
Can anyone ID the engine from this picture?
(And help verify if it is (or not) an Industrial.)

Aftermarket Issues with 5.7L Hemi
I have received a forwarded message from JBA that they will not be releasing their headers for the 5.7L Hemi for several months. The issue at hand, they mention, is the computer limiting the power output of the engine. I also noticed that the Kenne-Bell supercharger for the 5.7L Hemi is also delayed...

BO29/LO23 Production #s
Does anyone know the true production figures for the BO29 and LO23 super stock cars? I am finding 55, 70, and 80 when I do some digging. And how many were automatics? Manuals? I am trying to build some documentation for my http://www.hemicuda.com/ website, and it does not seem like 1968 SS info is t...

Early Turquoise 426 Blocks?
A web visitor was speaking with someone who made a
reference to early 1966 426 Hemi blocks (built in 1965)
that came in turquoise, not orange. Anyone confirm?

I do not have any factory contacts. I survive with press releases and the general industry rumors. :) Of all the materials and people that I have talked to, nothing has ever been said about Ford making the 426 Hemi heads. Ask the person who told you this to share some of his proof. That'd be interes...

Kind of lacking any real engine details, though.
