i am thinking about changing engines in my 34 5w from 331 to 426 ,my question is are the engine mounts / lugs the same , apart from above post differences, are the mounting holes in back of block the same as a 331 / 392 what are the differences i need to look for between the 331 /392 versus the 426 ...

I have just had my 392 fully rebuilt using hotheads hydraulic lifters , they come with a no brand on the cardboard box , after initial break in on cam the lifters became noisey, engine shop re set the rockers and found that a couple of the lifters were bleeding back very quickly , i now have to get ...

i have to machine the front snout, take thread off, a 315 cam to suit late double row timing gear, can any one tell me what needs to be done here,ive done this before but cant remember what i did 5 years ago

dont know why photobucket wont open , it wont open for me as well , it was only a video of engine fire up , it was over 12 months ago , maybe theve deleted it?

im using champion nj12y in my 392 , i use them with the gasket , as when they tighten they squish the gasket down and seal on the tube , if you take the gasket off the plug will tend to tear the tube when tightening this has happened to me before , Can you post a photo of your 34 with the 392 , love...

On my blown 331 , where would be the best spot to install a pcv valve , in the valley cover ,( hard to because of the gm 671 blower ), or in the rocker covers up high at the back , .I was even thinking of drilling a hole thru the screw in oil cap in the valley cover where you fill it with oil , i ha...

i finally fired up the 331 and ran the cam in , a couple of small water leaks to fix , and now to tear car down for paint

on a 392 i am putting a remote oil filter on the engine ,i need to confirm that the outlet oil hole
(oil pumped out of block) is the bottom hole on block and return line is the top hole , is this correct
