Re: The FORD Fudge Factor

Come on BD, surely you know that Ford and only Ford has ECOBOOST, yeah right. What it amounts to is nothing more than direct injection and a turbocharger which is, you guessed it; a combined 220 year old technology.

Re: WONDER WHY NHRA HAS QUIT SHOWING ENTRIES TO THE EVENTS

BD>"My bad" moparornocar. No problemo Kemosabe. Me thinks Cheby will not be part of that type of low life scam. They do not have to; they have pro stock by the tail with a downhill pull, plus most of the lower classes. A Ford engine has not won a class in the first 2 races.

Re: WONDER WHY NHRA HAS QUIT SHOWING ENTRIES TO THE EVENTS

Well, old dummy finally figured it out; on the event home page there is a search block up on the right side and seems you must search as this example "2015 gatornationals entry list", http://www.nhra.com/schedules/2015.aspx, http://www.nhra.com/events/event/gatornationals2015/, http://www....

Re: WONDER WHY NHRA HAS QUIT SHOWING ENTRIES TO THE EVENTS

Thanks BD, but that was/is not what I was looking for. Until this year a part of the schedule for each race showed an Entry List for each event catagory such as TF, FC, PS, Stock, Super Stock, Comp. Elim., TOP Dragster, etc. And showed the brand of engine. The entry list is no longer there and for m...

WONDER WHY NHRA HAS QUIT SHOWING ENTRIES TO THE EVENTS

Could it be because the Ford entries/Ford powered entries have for some time been very few and will now be almost none existent? We should know that NHRA has always sucked up to Ford in order to pacify the Ford fan in order to get their attendance. With SCUMBOSS going to Chevy, no fake Ford engines ...

Re: The HEMI is BOSS and the BOSS is Chrysler

So where are all these copy-cat hemi engines today? And how many NHRA races have they won? How many NHRA races did the ford scammer engine win. How many years since a true ford engine won a NHRA TF, FC. TAD or TAFC race? BlueDjinn, as I have said before, when you try to discuss such as engine techno...

So, where are the Ford fans with their weak, make that simple minded, replies about how great Ford racing is. Truth is this simple; ignorance is the engine that drives Ford and some of the previous posts prove it.

Subject: Lotta stuff Lotsa Stuff: If you ever wondered how much HP is required to pull your vehicle along whether it be an 18 wheeler or motorcycle here's a method that is fairly accurate. Re: New Turbo-Cummins Diesel Ram - 800lb/ft of torque !

Man , is that torque or IS that TORQUE. I have the first 3/4 Ton Dodge Cummins Diesel sold from a dealer in the entire state of Texas. It was rated at 400 FT LBS and ONLY 160 HP as I recall. Never mind, I still have it and routinely gross it to some 25,000# pulling 10-1500#+ rolls of hay out of hill...

FORD TO DROP JOHN FORCE

Hard to figure since the ford fans aka sheep have NOTHING else to attract them and surely ford is not repenting from their 100+ years of scams; it will no doubt hurt attendance of ford fans, but might increase attendance of more common sense folks. http://espn.go.com/racing/nhra/story/_/id/9535468/n...

A BETTER IDEA FOR THE FORD CAMMER

A BETTER IDEA FOR THE FORD CAMMER I truly believe if Ford had used this design for the engine it would be the primary engine in Funny Car, Top Fuel, TAFC & TAD and perhaps Pro-stock. It would still be a chain drive, but use an arrangement in the shape of a Y. There would be perhaps a No. 41 doub...

Very well put BlueD, and I totally agree, but it's the same old song, different verse. This is the way it is and I've said it before.
