426 Hemi fuel pump problem

Hi Guys 2 years ago I dropped the 426 hemi out of my Cuda. Just put it back in today and I can't remember which inlet on the mechanical fuel pump the fuel line from the gas tank goes to. The inlet on the pump that is closer to the front of the car points straight down and the inlet just behind it is...

Oil--- What type to use?

Spring is here and time to do the regular maintenance before starting up the engines. Every year I get a different story on the type of oil I should be using on the old stock 68 hemi. I have even heard that some guys are putting diesel oil into their big blocks. Some say to add a ZDDP additive. What...

Compression Problems 426 Hemi

Just checked the compression on my 426 Hemi. Drivers side each cylinder is about 150.
The passenger side each cylinder is 115. Big difference especially since the engine has just been
done and has less than 100 miles on it. Any suggestions on what might be the problem or cause.

Re: 1967 Hemi Engine

The engine is being machined and put together. I hope to have it by the end of June. I have a 1972 Cuda that I hope to put it in someday. I am not a mechanic so I am going to see if I can get someone who knows what he is doing and is not going to charge a fortune.
