Well I am back for round 2 with a 72 duster and a low mileage 5.7. The msd and carb is the only way to go as far as I am concerned. Hey there 392 where did you score an intake for 300? I used the mopar performance flexplate but this time I might just use the stock one and cut off the ring gear. Just...

Re: 3rdGen hemi into a body questions

Hope to have mine up and running over Christmas bre...

exhaust for a 5.7 to an e body swap
Is there a stock exhaust manifold that fits into an ebody with a 5.7? I have heard that jeep manifolds work but have not confirmed yet.

mds swap
Do I need to change all the lifters when I change to a non mds because of the lifter size being different on the guides? If so any leads on a complete swap kit? block off plates, lifters, gaskets, guides and anything else there is .

new swap
You are right that swap should be pretty easy but how about a swap into a v-6 charger or magnum. Has anyone attempted that yet. Just to save a few more $$$$$

yes street and performance harness and factory computer. This seems the cheapest way to at least get this thing going without too much headache. Still looks to be around $3000 even after you have a motor and transmission secure. But thats figuring a harness, oil pan, motor plates, and fuel system an...

Motor and car in the same garage now. Now just wondering how much is different on a 2006 than an older one. And how much will change over from a 6.1. From what I was told the motor came out of a 2006 charger its a 5.7 but it has upgraded ignition with no plug wires. Looks like we are gonna use the s...
