New aftermarket blocks. anymore news?

With the new world products aftermarket hemi and wedge blocks on the horizon, will current cummins block production cease? Will world products be the successor for all future hemi and wedge block production?It looks like a killer design.I wonder what they'll cost especially the CGI race blocks. anyo...

First thing I'd do is pull the pan off to see what crank is in it. when in doubt take it apart, measure all the dimensions. Especially the stroke or get a part # off the crank. if it's a crate engine ,it probably needs to come apart anyway to make sure it was put together right and torqued to spec i...

Jeez! I have a pre cummins foundry cast block & heads I bought around 1994/1995 when the components were first offered to the general public.I hope that this early new stuff does'nt have the casting problems that the later cast blocks ,98,99,00 has, if so I'm in trouble............ :o

Ya know, in spite of all the horror stories if I had the extra dollars I'd probably splurge & buy a crate hemi but Id be sure to pull it apart and inspect everything before reassembling & firing it. I presantly have what will be a 472 that I've been gathering parts on for the past 10 years. ...

I would have to agree with Bailiesdad on the fact that these HEMI crate engines should be sold instead as complete part assemblies that should be torn down & inspected then reassembled before firing. That would weed out any possible mechanical or assembly screwups.Kinda like the old ls6/ ls7 big...
